Student employment

The Zankel Music Center has a robust student employment program that allows students to work in all aspects of event production. Students working for Zankel operations will be trained in house management, box office, live streaming video production, technical sound and light operation, stage management, marketing, and social media. Students gain real-world experience in a professional arts venue while developing skills applicable to careers in performing arts, event production, media, marketing, and more.

Open positions are posted ahead of the Fall semester. Students can apply through the Student Employment website.

Rental inquiries

Bring your concert, lecture, performance, rehearsal, or reception to Arthur Zankel Music Center. The 600-seat Helen Filene Ladd Concert Hall is acoustically tuned, adaptable for different audience sizes, and built to accommodate everything from solo performers to full orchestras and choruses.

Rental options may include select supporting spaces, ticketing, technical production, recording, and audience services. We welcome rental inquiries throughout the year, with the greatest availability outside the academic calendar. During the academic year, Skidmore College programs and activities receive scheduling priority and require VP approval. Availability and pricing vary based on the date, space, staffing, and technical needs of your event.
