At the beginning of each academic year, Honors Forum members who wish to continue their membership need to submit a renewal form. Members of the Honors Council and Executive Committee will review each renewal form looking for evidence of participation and engagement with the Forum over the previous year. Members will receive email verification once their form has been received.
The Honors Forum requires all returning members to complete a renewal of membership process at the beginning of each academic year. If you were inducted into the Forum at the end of the spring semester of the previous academic year, you are not required to complete the renewal process as you are a new Honors Forum member, not a returning one. The renewal process consists of a form which is designed to demonstrate your active membership within the Forum.
The renewal form requires that you tell us what events sponsored by HF you have participated in during the previous year and that you complete a short (250 word) statement reflecting on the quality and depth of your involvement with the Forum over the previous year. I encourage you to take this not as just another requirement but rather as an opportunity to consider your commitment to the Forum and the way in which the Forum has helped enrich your academic experience at Skidmore.
The deadline for submitting the Fall 2011 form is October 7, 2011.
