Stupa

A view of Adam next to the stupa, amid some archaeological ruins.  The old stupa is where Buddha starting spinning the wheel of dharma with his second sermon (1st nearby) around 500 BCE. The stupa, a solid structure with a reliquary closer to the top, dates from Ashoka's time, 3rd c. BCE.
