Apply to Join

In order to become a regular provider with SCEMS, you must be a New York State EMT-B or higher.  Skidmore College offers a 2-credit EMT course every Fall and Spring semester, which you can find on the master schedule on the Skidmore Registrar's website.  If you need help finding a summer EMT class in your hometown or if you would like assistance in applying for New York State certification after acquiring a certification in another state, please reach out to us at scems@skidmore.edu.

If you would like to join our team in other capacities (community outreach, observer shifts, administrative leadership, or simply coming to meetings and trainings), then no prior medical experience is required and you may reach out to us at scems@skidmore.edu.
