The ZEN Mentoring Program pairs Skidmore juniors with alumni mentors based on shared career interests. After a successful pilot last year, the program is being expanded in 2022-23, and recruitment is underway for mentors. Learn more and apply to be a mentor here.

Three new exhibitions open soon! “ROOM•MATE 2022” features Tang collection works that students can borrow. “Cabinet of Queeriosities,” curated by Roman Cohen ’22, the 2021-22 Eleanor Linder Winter ’43 Endowed Intern, uses a queer theory lens to present miniature versions of Tang art that visitors can rearrange. “Lotus Shoes: Stories between Stitches,” curated by Madeleine Ward-Schutlz, the 2021-22 Charina Endowment Fund Endowed Intern, explores how women adorned shoes for bound feet with vivid hues and intricate embroidery to express individuality.
