Annual Senior Thesis Exhibition scheduled

Skidmore continues a beloved tradition with the annual studio art majors' Senior Thesis Exhibition, scheduled Friday through Saturday, May 10-18 at the Tang Teaching Museum. An opening reception is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. May 10. The Department of Art sponsors the exhibition.

Thirty-two senior studio art majors will be displaying their work as a capstone to their studies at the college. The department provides courses in numerous studio art disciplines including ceramics, communication design, drawing and painting, electronic media, fiber arts, metals, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

Students whose work will be exhibited are as follows: Lucas Abend, Rachel Aisenson, Magdalen Andreoni, Nicole Cameron, Kelsey Cioffi, Flavia D'Urso, Julia Degemmis, Chelsea Dupuis, Rivkah Gevinson, Jacquelyn Grandon, Katrina Heiss, Katherine Imboden, Skylar Kergil, Maria Kozmin, Melissa Leung, Edwina Lucas, Michelle Molokotos, Megan Mulone, Daniel Pinnolis, Alyssa Pomfrey, Alissa Rakauskas, Melanie Reese, Hannah Ryan-Humphrey, Chloe Salidor, Nicholas Santa-Donato, Elena Scott, Seth Seeman, Diego Sierra, Suchin Son, Elisabeth Svenningsen, Julia Travaglini, and Grace Troxell.

The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Hours at the Tang to view the Senior Thesis Art Exhibition hours are as follows:  Friday, May 10, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12, noon to 5 p.m.  The week of May 13 hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, noon to 6 p.m.
