Conference & event policies
Skidmore College welcomes external conferences, camps, institutes, meetings, retreats, and other programs during available periods. The information below outlines policies and requirements that may affect planning, contracting, guests, and use of campus spaces.
External events and campus scheduling
Skidmore College’s academic and institutional needs take priority when campus spaces are scheduled. We can only offer large-group rentals during the summer months. Our resources and campus partners are unavailable during the academic year (September through May), with the exception of small gatherings that may be arranged at the Surrey-Williamson Inn.
Are you a Skidmore faculty or staff member planning a College event? Internal events follow a separate scheduling process. Visit the Scheduling Office.
