Academically Adrift?
Are Our Students Learning?
Faculty Interest Group
The immediate goal of this Faculty Interest Group is to read and discuss Richard Arum’s
and Josipa Roksa’s new book, Academically Adrift: Limited Learning on College Campuses. Our long-term goal is to invite interested faculty to a series of broader discussion
about the issues the book raises.
This group will begin meeting fall semester 2011, and we hope that discussions will
continue throughout the academic year.
Current Members:
- Michael Arnush, classics
- Erica Bastress-Dukehart, history
- Jennifer Delton, history
- Natalie Taylor, government
If you are interested in joining this group, the Network will supply you with a copy
of Academically Adrift: Limited Learning on College Campuses.
