Teaching in an Inclusive Classroom
Faculty Interest Group
This FIG focuses on supporting faculty who want to enhance their skills related to
teaching in an inclusive classroom. Topics of discussion are determined by the participants,
but may include best practices for creating and maintaining a safe classroom climate;
pedagogical strategies for teaching sensitive, conflictual, or controversial topics;
and stereotype threat and student achievement.
