Faculty Interest Group

The Faculty Network, in collaboration with the Science Literacy Group, proposes to start a Science Literacy Interest Group that will bring together diverse participants from across campus (faculty, students, and administrators) to explore ways to enhance scientific literacy at Skidmore.This group expects to identify interdisciplinary pedagogies, bring in outside speakers, examine literature regarding innovative programs at other colleges and universities, and perhaps visit these schools to gain a greater appreciation for how they have incorporated scientific literacy into their pedagogies and across disciplines.
