White Faculty
Faculty Interest Group
In light of recent discussions regarding campus climate, we have identified a need
for white faculty to meet to educate ourselves and to discuss the steps we can take
to create a more inclusive community for everyone on campus. It is our belief that
part of becoming a more inclusive campus involves questioning and understanding our
own positions of privilege as white faculty members. The purpose of this Faculty Interest
Group is to explore and discuss issues related to white privilege, particularly in
the context of teaching and participating in the college community.
