The Department of Health Promotion makes information available on a wide range of health topics and is committed to providing resources that will help individuals within the Skidmore community to make responsible choices on topics such as:
- alcohol and other drugs
- stress management
- eating disorders
- body image
FALL 2021 UPDATES AND INFORMATION
We are excited to announce that the Student Wellness Center will be reopening for in-person visits on September 13, 2021. Hours will be 11am - 5pm Monday - Friday with extended hours through 9pm on Wednesdays. We will also be open on Sunday evenings from 6pm - 9pm. Please stay tuned for the therapy dog schedule.
Health Promotion will continue to offer the following services virtually at the start of the Fall 2021 semester and whenever the College is operating under Status Level Yellow or Red. We will reevaluate frequently with a goal of providing in-person services when possible.

- BASICS gives students the opportunity to explore their relationship with alcohol and/or other drugs and develop strategies for minimizing risk in a non-judgmental environment.
