Human Resources provides housing information to new hires who are from out of the area, including a link to Skidmore's housing forum. Everyone with local housing information or needs is welcome to use this forum. Since a Skidmore username and password are required to post to the site, HR facilitates the posting of items for people outside the Skidmore community.

Skidmore’s Local and Regional Cultural Resources Guidehas been developed to assist you in identifying and locating some of the many diverse businesses in and around Saratoga and the Capital Region. This resource is just a quick look at what our region has to offer to individuals with various tastes and cultural backgrounds.
The Capital District Regional Planning Commission (CDRPC) is a regional planning and resource center serving Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady counties. CDRPC provides objective analysis of data, trends, opportunities and challenges relevant to the region's economic development and planning communities. CDRPC serves the best interests of the public and private sectors by promoting intergovernmental cooperation; communicating, collaborating and facilitating regional initiatives; and sharing information and fostering dialogues on solutions to regional problems.
