All Skidmore general classrooms are fully networked Multimedia (instructional technology) classrooms. Unless otherwise stated, each room contains Windows and Macintosh computers with DVD-ROM, VHS videocassette/DVD player, computer/video projector, sound reinforcement for all components, and external inputs for laptop and video.
All switching is controlled by a push button control panel. These panels are set to operate in a similar manner across the campus.
There are presently two types of controllers to operate the AV equipment in the classroom consoles. The original black-colored control panel with up to four sources, and the new white-colored control panel with up to six sources.
