Join the Residential Life Team
The Office of Residential Life could not operate without great student team members. Our student staff consists of 2 positions for the 2021-2022 academic year - Resident Assistant and Community Assistant - and 1 position over the summer - Resident Assitant. Information about each position and the selection process can be found below.
Resident Assistants are returning students living in our residence halls and assisting the residents of one floor. They help ensure student safety through on call and building rounds, and serve as a resource for their residents. All students with at least one semester of residential living are welcome to apply. Check out the Position Description for further details on responsibilities.
For students interested in being an RA for the 2021 - 2022 academic year, please review the required steps below. Please note that all new applicants are required to attend one information session.

Community Assistants are students who have completed at least two semesters as a Resident Assistant. CAs live in our apartment complexes and assist Area Coordinators in creating a cohesive Resident Assistant team, while supporting apartment residents. Check out the Position Description for further information about specific responsibilities.
RAs who have served on staff for at least two semesters are welcome to apply and should complete the required steps below.

Summer Resident Assistants are students who are staying on campus for the summer for classes, an internship for credit, participating in Collaborative Research, or working on campus. Summer RAs are responsible for on call, rounds of residential areas, assisting with closings and openings, and checking in with their summer residents.
Applications for the Summer RA position are due April 15.
