For over 36 summers, the New York State Summer Writers Institute has offered aspiring students the opportunity to learn from a distinguished faculty of award-winning authors. As part of our ongoing commitment to access and diversity, the Institute offers scholarships to young writers with promise who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend the program. Small classes, the opportunity for private tutorials and a community of like-minded individuals all sharing a common passion for writing make this an inspiring experience in a supportive environment.
A gift to the Summer Writers Institute will ensure we can continue to make this opportunity available to aspiring young students.
