Course Description

Our Planet, Our Business

Instructor(s): Catherine Hill, Management and Business

An exploration of the elements of a liberal arts education through the lens of sustainable business practices and climate change.  We will discuss what climate change is from a scientific, political, economic, and biologic perspective. We will consider the impact of different business models and discuss how purpose driven businesses can combat the world’s biggest problems. We will discuss how to integrate your values into your work so that you can help transform firms into catalysts for system level change.

We will also discuss how to successfully transition to college.  We will explore issues like time management, social media, dating, drugs and alcohol and become a resource for your questions about college.
