About the book

We're excited to announce that the summer reading for the Class of 2027 is Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro. This text explores what it means to be human, curiosity, learning, and knowledge, as well as artificial intelligence. It also looks at our rapidly changing modern world through the eyes of an unforgettable narrator to explore a fundamental question: what does it mean to love?
