Referral Database
Welcome to the Counseling Center’s referral database. Information in the database has been submitted by local private practitioners. Counseling Center staff review all submissions for errors, but cannot guarantee the accuracy of specific information regarding individual clinicians. If you intend to use an insurance plan to access care, we recommend contacting your insurance company for a list of local in-network providers prior to searching the database. We also recommend confirming insurance participation with any provider from whom you seek services, as insurance panels do change over time.
Please know that, if you do seek services from a private practitioner, you are still eligible to utilize the Counseling Center’s same-day emergency appointments and emergency on-call service as needed.
If you would prefer to meet with a Counseling Center staff member to discuss referral options in person, please come to our office on the 1st floor of Jonsson Tower to fill out some brief paperwork and we’ll schedule you for a referral consultation appointment.
Finally, we’re always open to feedback about private clinicians with whom you’ve met. If you’ve had an experience – good or bad – that you think we should know about, please don’t hesitate to give us a call (518-580-5555).
