Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty

David Schlenker identified this internship and applied successfully for it in Summer 2011.  He wrote towards the end of the summer:

At Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty, I am compiling research and writing on the history of the Statue of Liberty from 1609-Present for the NPS's updated website in honor of the Statue's 125 Anniversary. I also did research and wrote a tour script (and have obviously been giving tours) for the museum's traveling exhibit on the immigration port at Galveston, Texas.
