National Museum of Dance

"Our office interns are exposed to all aspects of the museum. We are a very small staff of 7 so our interns become a very important part of day-to-day office activities as well as longer term projects. Duties for office interns include administrative work, mailings, communication, public relations, marketing, event programming, children's programming, and membership. However, any internship can be tailored to a specific students needs (for example, a public relations major could be focused on tasks including writing press releases & helping to plan programming). We also offer internships based in our exhibits which take place mostly outside of the offices (research, design, and development of new exhibits)."
