- The building known to the Skidmore community and beyond for more than 40 years as the Therese W. Filene Music Building appropriately was renamed during the Filene Music Competition.
- Five teams of students are one step closer to receiving cash prizes totaling $9,000 after finishing Round I of the Alumni Association Marketing Competition, in which the challenge is to create a winning marketing campaign to promote the association.
- Thanks to contributions from three alumni, students have the opportunity to win cash prizes totally $16,500 for developing a marketing and communications plan for the Alumni Association or a plan to launch a new business.
