Living on-line

The next generation of students will come to college with the belief that digital information resources are a natural and automatic part of daily life. They will have used the web for information searching since early childhood. Likewise, web-based library catalogs, on-line discussion groups, and email will all be an integral part of their experiential world. Indeed, this generation will be more comfortable searching the web than the traditional library reference collections.
