Staff meetings

Skidmore College staff meetings are generally held from 1 to 2 p.m. on the first Friday of each month during the academic term, unless otherwise noted. All staff are encouraged to attend in person or via Zoom. Location and Zoom information are emailed during the week of each meeting.

Gifts and memorial donations

Departments may recognize significant life events affecting a colleague, including hospitalization, recovery from a medical procedure, disability leave, the birth or adoption of a child, the death of an immediate family member, or the death of a Skidmore employee or retiree.

Departments may spend approximately $50 on flowers, a gift basket, or a memorial donation, charged to a departmental credit card. Individual gestures are not reimbursable.
