Faculty and Staff Traveling Internationally

Faculty and staff traveling internationally for the purposes of research, teaching, conferences, service, recruiting, site visits or other objectives sponsored and or funded by Skidmore College are covered by the College’s International Insurance.
This coverage includes emergency medical expenses, security evacuation, trip cancellation, lost luggage/baggage delay, accidental death & dismemberment benefit.
It is necessary to contact the Risk Management Office at 518-580-5812 or at kbombard@skidmore.edu to become enrolled in the insurance at least 2 weeks prior to departure.

It is strongly encourage that faculty and staff traveling internationally enrolled in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP).  This DOS services ensures the traveler will receive important information about safety conditions in your destination county, including natural disasters and civil unrest.
