Cheryl Towers is a graduate of Corinth Central HS and Spencers Business Institute of Schenectady. She has one daughter, Rachael, who graduated from Connecticut College May 2002.

Cheryl has served on Skidmore's Affirmative Action and Financial Policy and Planning Committees. She received the Skidmore College President's Day Award on April 26, 2002.

Cheryl has been a Sunday school teacher for the South Corinth United Methodist Church and for the First Presbyterian Church of Corinth. She was a mentor for the Junior High and Senior High Youth Groups at the First Presbyterian Church and has served on the Church's Youth Advisory Board.

Her door is always open to students and faculty.
