History major Becca Gilligan organized a panel discussion of area World War II veterans as a project in the Social Work course called "Community Engagement." The veterans and students who recorded the vets' oral histories will share their stories in a special public program April 25.

Gold-medal swimmer Nancy Hogshead-Makar is an expert on matters of equity in sports. She'll discuss the challenges facing Olympics organizers as they deal with the decisions of recent Title IX litigation in the U.S. Her talk is free and open to the public.
