Skidmore College EMS (SCEMS) works hard to protect our patient’s privacy. We understand that medical information about you and your health is personal, and we are committed to protecting your private health information. All private health information SCEMS collects, or SCEMS personnel become aware of while treating you, are strictly confidential and will be treated in accordance with professional, ethical and legal guidelines. This means that your personal medical information will not be released without your written consent except as required by law. SCEMS personnel will never share your private health information, or any information about a call, with anyone unless required by law or as needed to treat you.

You are entitled to a copy of our privacy practices, available here, and you may collect a paper copy at the SCEMS office at any time.
