Parking restrictions Aug. 29 and Sept 1. for move-in
Approximately half of the incoming first-year class will arrive on campus Thursday, Aug. 29, with remaining first-year students arriving Sunday, Sept. 1.
Access to the following lots will be restricted between the hours of 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Lots with Restricted Access
- Tower Lot
- Wait Lot and Barrett Loop
- Case Lot (west half only, near McClellan Hall)
- Sports Center/Greenberg Child Care lots (Sunday, Sept. 1 only. Lots will reopen by 7 p.m.)
- North end of West Lot closest to the Hub (Vehicles must be moved out of the north end of West Lot closest to the Hub by 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28. This lot will remain closed through the evening of Sept. 1.)
Employees who normally park in these lots should park elsewhere during the move-in process. Vehicles should not be parked in restricted lots overnight Wednesday, Aug. 28 or Saturday, Aug. 31. See the list of available lots below.
Lots Available for Employee/Student/Visitor Parking
- Palamountain Lot
- Arts Quad A (by Zankel)
- East end of West Lot near Case Roadway
- Tang Lot
- North Hall Lot
Bus Stop Temporarily Moved
The bus stop will be temporarily moved to the Tang Parking Lot on Thursday, Aug. 29 and Sunday, Sept. 1. Signage at the lot will indicate where the bus will be dropping off and picking up passengers.
