Fake ID Disposal

Campus Safety offers an anonymous service to students where fake IDs can be surrendered for proper destruction with no questions asked and no conduct repercussions.  A secure disposal box is kept at the Campus Safety front desk where students can drop off fake ID without having to identify themselves or the origin of the document.  The exemption from conduct repercussions is only available if the disposal is self-initiated by a student and does not apply once Campus Safety or other College officials locate the ID.   It is our hope that secure disposal of these unlawful documents will help reduce underage drinking and potential criminal liability for students while at the same time protecting them from identity theft.  All surrendered IDs will be destroyed by our confidential shredding service.
