  • Eunice Norton Pardon, associate professor emerita of art, died at her home in Saratoga Springs on September 6, 1997, after a long illness.
  • Judy Parks, who served Skidmore for two decades until her retirement as payroll supervisor in 1997, died on April 28, 2024. She was 83.
  • Helen Elizabeth (Janes) Patti ’77, an alumna who served the Registrar’s Office for nearly three decades, died March 2, 2026. She was 93.
  • Ann Page Perrino, a retiree from housekeeping, died June 7, 2004, in Greenfield Center, N.Y.
  • Betty (Boyer) Platt, who supported several academic departments at Skidmore for two decades, died Jan. 29, 2021. She was 98.
  • David Porter, classics professor and Skidmore president emeritus, died March 26, 2016, while out for a walk. He was 80.
  • Larry Porter, a 30-year veteran of campus security, died March 22, 2017.
  • Yvonne Roy Porter, a member of the President's Office staff for more than two decades, died June 2, 2015, in Saratoga Springs. She was 93.
  • Harry Prosch, a Skidmore professor of philosophy for 25 years, died Friday, March 11, at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga.
  • Jon Ramsey, Skidmore’s former dean of studies, who left a lasting mark on the Honors Forum and many programs at Skidmore, died of cancer at his home in Goleta, California, on March 9, 2019. He was 77.
  • Edward Reagen, professor emeritus of economics, died peacefully at his home in Naples, Fla., on Sept. 24, 2002.
  • Lillian A. Reagen, a longtime member of the Lucy Scribner Library staff, died July 22, 2014, in Northumberland, Pennsylvania. She was 88.
  • John L. Reed, who served the College for 27 years as a professor of education, chair of the Education Department, and director of the College's Elementary Education Program, died June 28, 2014, at his home in Saratoga Springs. The cause was pancreatic cancer. He was 85.
  • Alice P. Reeves, instructor in English, died October 12, 1960.
  • Jane Reisman, former associate director of admissions at Skidmore, died in Glens Falls Hospital September 30, 2018.
  • Don Richards, former development officer and longtime friend of the College, died June 18, at the age of 100.
  • Julia “Julie” A. Rivette, a dedicated member of Skidmore’s housekeeping team, died on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025. She was 74.
  • Paul Roder, who retired from Campus Safety, died Sunday, September 29, 2019. He was 73.
  • Steven Rosenbach, who served the Department of Campus Safety for more than two decades, died at home on Feb. 24, 2021. He was 65.
  • Phyllis A. Roth, longtime professor of English and former dean of the faculty who served as both acting and interim president of Skidmore College, died March 25, 2012, in Saratoga Hospital, of complications from pancreatic cancer.
