Terry Conrad, Visiting Assistant Professor
Terry Conrad teaches Visual Concepts and has taught Image+Process=Book during the
Summer Studio Art program. His work takes shape in two and three dimensions dealing
with combinations of the themes of decoration, waste, narrative and process. Recent
residencies include; Penland in North Carolina, Frans Masereel Centrum in Kasterlee,
Belgium and Vermont Studio Center. He has shown his work regionally and nationally
at International Print Center in New York, Art Chicago and the Albany Airport. He
received a BFA from Alfred University and a MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Other
professional experience includes working as a Costume and Prop Technician at Izquierdo
Studio in New York City for theater and films.
