Victoria Palermo, Visiting Assistant Professor
Victoria Palermo, Visiting Assistant Professor of Studio Art, teaches courses in foundation
design and sculpture. She has exhibited both two- and three-dimensional work in galleries
and art venues across the country, and has been reviewed in Sculpture magazine. Currently
represented by John Davis Gallery in Hudson, New York, she has received awards from
the New York Foundation for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, and
has been an artist in residence at Yaddo. Her professional background also includes
directing the Art Department at Adirondack Scenic, Inc. (Glens Falls, NY) with responsibility
for creating set and scenic designs. She received her BS in Art from Skidmore College
and her MFA from Bennington College (Bennington, VT).
