GLSEN has a lot of resources on the website. There are forms you can have students fill out, book recommendations, real-life examples, and many more topics. They also have resources for building an inclusive curriculum.
Trevor Project
The Trevor Project is another great resource. This organization is geared more towards interacting with LGBT+ youth rather than instruction. It is full of useful information.
GLAAD
GLAAD is a Media Rewards organization. This is a great organization to find LGBT+ movies, books, or articles. Plus, the website is set up, so you can easily find information on different groups in the LGBT+ community. For example, they have pages called “Black Queer Voices” and “Southern Storybank.”
Skidmore Lucy Scribner Library
There are great resources you can find right on campus. The library offers access to many databases and has a large collection of books focused on LGBT+ lives, histories, and experiences.
