Ensemble Connect—A program of Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School and the Weill Music Institute in partnership with the New York City Department of Education
Ensemble Connect is a two-year fellowship program for the finest young professional classical musicians in the United States that prepares them for careers combining musical excellence with teaching, community engagement, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Each year Ensemble Connect, along with a guest composer, holds two five-day residencies at Skidmore College in October and February. While in residence, the fellows of Ensemble Connect engage with Skidmore College students—as well as the broader Saratoga Springs community—offering master classes, lessons, class demonstrations, and interactive performances, culminating in a performance in Helen Filene Ladd Concert Hall, Zankel Music Center, often featuring commissioned works by the guest composer.

Ensemble Connect, now entering its 12th full season, was developed by Carnegie Hall and The Juilliard School to broaden the
skillset of a professional musician and to support music education in New York City-area
public schools.
Established in 2007, the residency at Skidmore College has included guest composers:
