Election Outcome Information

Dear Skidmore Community,

In an election conducted by the National Labor Relations Board today, our Resident Assistants and Community Assistants voted in favor of being represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

We respect the outcome of the election and our student leaders’ participation in the democratic process that led to this result. We will now move forward to bargain in good faith with SEIU Local 2000 toward mutually agreeable terms. Our Resident Assistants and Community Assistants play a vital role in the success of the residential experience for their fellow students. We greatly value their leadership and their contributions, and we thank them for their distinguished service to Skidmore.
