The session internship is a full time commitment outfitted both with a stipend of $4,000 and a  regular academic course taught by the professor in residence, culminating in a large research paper. Students will be conducting research for the New York State Assembly's office in addition to taking on certain administrative responsibilities. 

The "Session Internship" is not just for government majors but is open to people of all academic backgrounds.

The application date is November 1st for a January to May internship.
