Skidmore Spotlight: Chris Massa

Chris Massa works as a photographer in the Office of Communications and Marketing.

Massa, who joined Skidmore in 2017, photographs many events on campus for the College’s print and digital publications and collaborates with the Communications and Marketing team to help tell the Skidmore story. He also oversees the College’s digital asset library, Libris.

“There are many aspects of Skidmore that I enjoy,” said Massa. “Because of the nature of my job, I usually attend just about every major event on campus. I love the energy of Alumni Weekend, the music of Beatlemore Skidmania, and I always appreciate any time I can attend an event where a student’s work is showcased. I’ve always been impressed with the amount of talent at Skidmore.”

When he’s not at Skidmore, Massa enjoys the outdoors and stays active by running, swimming, hiking and cycling. He also enjoys gaming, listening to music or watching a movie with immersive sound.
