Jordana DymJordana Dym, professor of history, delivered a keynote lecture and led a hands-on workshop on assignment building for diverse student populations as part of The Alliance to Advance Liberal Arts Colleges event “The Future of History in Liberal Arts Colleges," held at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

William LewisWilliam Lewis, professor of philosophy, recently published a blog on how the work of French Marxist philosopher Louis Althusser should be received in light of the fact that he killed his wife.

Emily Marcason TolmieEmily Marcason-Tolmie, director of prospect management, research and analytics in the Office of Advancement, earned a master’s degree in English and creative writing, with a concentration in fiction, from Southern New Hampshire University. She graduated with highest honors.

Adam WaldAdam Wald ’94, senior assistant director of the Skidmore Fund, received an Outstanding Service Award at the Skidmore Alumni Association Recognition Ceremony during Reunion Weekend. The award honors his prolific volunteer work in support of the College.

Marketa Halova WolfeMarketa Wolfe, associate professor of economics, presented her paper “Integrating Data Analysis into an Introductory Macroeconomics Course” at the ninth annual Conference on Teaching & Research in Economic Education, organized by the American Economic Association.
