Faculty-Staff Achievements

A book by Yelena Biberman-Ocakli, assistant professor of political science, was recently published by Oxford University Press. “Gambling with Violence: State Outsourcing of War in Pakistan and India” is now available on Amazon.  

Kristofer Covey, visiting assistant professor of environmental studies and sciences, was quoted in an article published by Yale Environment 360, “Scientists Zero in on Trees as a Surprisingly Large Source of Methane.”

Sarah Day-O'Connell, associate professor of music, co-edited the Cambridge Haydn Encyclopedia, which was recently published after nearly six years of work.

 

David Domozych, professor of biology, presented a paper, “The subcellular dynamics of biosynthesis and secretion of the extracellular matrix of the unicellular charophyte, Penium margaritaceum,” at the Society for Experimental Biology meeting entitled “First Landing” on June 30 in Seville, Spain. He also chaired the session at the meeting entitled “Evo-Devo.”
