Jason Breves, assistant professor of biology, published an article with collaborators at the University
of Hawaii and Shimane University titled "Systemic versus tissue-level prolactin signaling in a teleost during a tidal cycle" in the Journal of Comparative Physiology B.
Stephen Ives, associate professor of health and human physiological sciences, in collaboration
with Skidmore students Ryan Beierle ’17, Phoebe Burton ’18, Hayden Smith ’18 and Albany
Medical Center faculty member Michael Smith, published the research paper “The Effect of Barefoot Running on EMG Activity in the Gastrocnemius and Tibialis Anterior
in Active College-Aged Females” in the International Journal of Exercise Science.
Christopher Mann, assistant professor of political science, has written an article, "New evidence suggests that going negative does not motivate political action any more
than positive messaging," for LSE US Centre’s daily academic blog on American politics and policy.June Paul, assistant professor of social work, published an article, "Sexual minority status and child maltreatment: How do health outcomes among sexual
minority young adults differ due to child maltreatment exposure?", in the journal Child Abuse & Neglect.
