Eunice FerreiraEunice S. Ferreira, assistant professor of theater, published a chapter on multilingual theater in “Casting a Movement” (Routledge, 2019) and the article “Enacting Political Theory and Reclaiming Roots for Crioulo Performance” in the Journal of Cape Verdean Studies.

Over the summer, at the invitation of the Consulate of Cabo Verde, she spoke at a program honoring the founding artistic director of Korda Kaoberdi, a post-independence theater troupe in Cabo Verde. Also, she was re-elected as a board member for the Black Theatre Association.

Peter Moloney

Peter Moloney, lecturer in the Management and Business Department, recently recorded a podcast for WAMC radio, “The Irish Backstop And The Brexit Grenade,” and is a regular panelist on WAMC’s The Roundtable.

Jameson PlatteJameson Platte, lecturer in the Music Department and a cello instructor, has released a new album, “Entr'acte,” with pianist Matthew Quayle. It is available through Albany Records, iTunes and Amazon. They recently played a recital in the deBlasiis Concert Series in Glens Falls.

Aarathi PrasadAarathi Prasad, assistant professor of computer science, in collaboration with Skidmore student Ruben Ruiz ’21 and Timothy Stablein of Union College, published the research paper “Understanding Parents’ Concerns with Smart Device Usage in the Home” in the proceedings of the HCI International Conference and presented the paper at the conference in Orlando.

Sheldon SolomonSheldon Solomon, professor of psychology, recently spoke to National Public Radio about the issues discussed in his book “The Worm at the Core: On the Role of Death in Life.”
