Stephen IvesStephen Ives, associate professor of health and human physiological sciences, in collaboration with Skidmore students Maddie Jaques ’19, Daniel Glick ’19 and Dante Greco-Henderson ‘22, published a research paper, “The Effects of Short Term β-Alanine Supplementation on Performance in Division III Male and Female Rowers,” in the Journal of Exercise and Nutrition.

Dan NathanDaniel Nathan, professor of American studies, recently spoke at the Society for American Baseball (SABR) Black Sox Scandal Centennial Symposium at the Chicago History Museum.  

Andrew SchnellerA.J. Schneller, assistant professor of environmental studies, recently published the manuscript “Outcomes of art-based environmental education in the Hudson River Watershed” in the journal Applied Environmental Education and Communication. The article was co-authored by Julia Adelman ’17 and Shannon Post ’17 as a product of their ESS Senior Research Capstone project with students and teachers at Saratoga Independent School. 

Dominique VuvanDominique Vuvan, assistant professor of psychology, co-authored an academic article, “Vowel Content Influences Relative Pitch Perception in Vocal Melodies,” in Music Perception: An Interdisciplinary Journal.
