Skidmore Spotlight: Patricia Kolberg

Patricia Kolberg works as the bibliographic services assistant and cataloger in the Bibliographic Services Department at Scribner Library, where she processes new library materials, does in-house book repairs and supervises student assistants.  

Kolberg has worked at Skidmore for more than 30 years. She began as a part-time assistant in the library’s Circulation Office. A few years later, a position opened up in the Cataloging Department, which is now known as Bibliographic Services.

One of her favorite aspects of working at the College is seeing how excited students are when they arrive in the fall and how they grow throughout their careers at Skidmore. She also enjoys Commencement every spring.

When not on campus, Kolberg loves spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the pool and being near the ocean.
