Faculty-Staff Achievements
Paul Benzon, Margaret Greaves and Wendy Lee, assistant professors of English, presented at a recent conference, ASAP 11: Ecologies of the Present, the annual meeting of the Association for the Study of the Arts of the Present,
in College Park, Maryland. Benzon presented "Notes on Notes on Notes: Glenn Ligon
Reads James Baldwin"; Greaves presented "Lunar Nostalgia in the Poetry of Agha Shahid
Ali"; and Lee presented "The Novelistic and The Wire: Race and the Myth of Television’s
Golden Age.”
Jason Breves, assistant professor of biology, co-authored an article, "Early-life exposure to 17beta-estradiol and 4-nonylphenol impacts the growth hormone/insulin-like
growth-factor system and estrogen receptors in Mozambique tilapia, Oreochromis mossambicus," in the journal Aquatic Toxicology.
Pushkala Prasad, professor of management and Zankel Chair, presented her research in a talk, “Fractured
Rainbows: Identity Conflicts in Liberal Organizational Enclaves,” to the Stockholm
School of Economics and the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
