Skidmore Spotlight: Jean Lambert

January 8, 2020

Jean Lambert works as an administrative assistant for records in the Registrar’s Office, maintaining student academic records and aspects of the course catalog, entering major and minor declarations and processing transcript, degree and diploma-related requests.

In 1988, Lambert joined Career Services at Skidmore. She worked in the Opportunity Program, Residential Life, the Art Department and the Computer Center before joining the Registrar’s Office.

“My position allows me to assist our students and alumni from all over the world and allows me to learn more about the history of the College,” she said.

Lambert is also a fan of the many wellness and fitness opportunities available to employees and the many opportunities to give back to the community, including the Thanksgiving collection for the Saratoga County Economic Opportunity Council, Skidmore Cares and Give+Go.

When not on campus, she enjoys the company of her family, friends and pets, attending soccer games, school concerts and other activities that her grandchildren take part in, volunteering, doing word-search puzzles, knitting, crafting and cooking.
