Jeremy ChieraJeremy Chiera, network technician, has completed his Cisco Certified Network Associate certification program, which involved multiple years of practical work, online training classes and passing a two-hour certification exam. The certification is good for three years.

Catherine GoldenCatherine Golden, professor of English, published a teaching article in Central Online Victorian Educator (COVE) in which she recounts how she designed a virtual gallery exhibition for her course on the Victorian Illustrated Book during the shift to remote learning. Her exhibit, A Victorian Menagerie,” can also be viewed through COVE. In addition, Golden presented on this exhibit-based digital pedagogy as a member of a virtual panel for the North American Victorian Studies Association. 

Ron Seyb, associate professor of political science, wasRon Seybinterviewed by WNYT-NewsChannel13 about the selection of Kamala Harris as Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s running mate. 

Sonia Silva

Sonia Silva, associate professor of anthropology, was invited by the journal Current Anthropology to write a 1,000-word comment, “Time Interference or Time Elasticity,” on an article published in the journal, “Haunting, Dutching, and Interference: Provocations for the Anthropology of Time.”
