Cerri Banks

Cerri Banks, dean of students and vice president for student affairs, has joined the board of directors for Wellspring, the domestic violence and sexual assault services resource for Saratoga County residents. The announcement was published in ThSaratogian newspaper 

Gwen D'ArcangelisGwen D'Arcangelis, associate professor of gender studies, published “The Biden Administration and Genetically Engineered Bioweapons Research” in the Biopolitical Times blog of the Center for Genetics and Society.  

Anna BreznyAnna Brezny, assistant professor in the Chemistry Department, co-authored the research article “Different Kinetic Reactivities of Electrons in Distinct TiO2 Nanoparticle Trap States,” which appeared in the Journal of Physical Chemistry C. This work explores the reactivity of a common semiconductor material, titanium dioxide.

Kris Covey

Kris Covey, visiting assistant professor of environmental studies and sciences, has received a $50,000 grant from the Globetrotter Foundation #Noregrets initiative. The funds will be used to further Covey’s soil carbon research. 

Jennifer DeltonJennifer Delton, professor of history, was interviewed by the Times Union for the article “A coup, terrorism or something else? Historians, security expert reflect on U.S. Capitol violence.”

 

Catherine GoldenCatherine Golden, professor of English and Tisch Chair in Arts and Letters, published "A Tale for Our Time? John Ruskin's The King of the Golden River,’which appeared in Illustration Magazine (Autumn 2020).   

Chris MannChristopher Mann, assistant professor of political science, was interviewed for the article “Schumer's skills to be tested in narrowly divided chamber” in the Times Union. 

Kamilah WilliamsKamilah Williams, assistant professor of economics, co-authored  “Does Information Sharing Matter? Cross-country Evidence on Foreign Bank Presence, which appeared in the Journal of Economics and Business (December 2020).
