Emmanuel Balogun

Michael C. Ennis-McMillan, associate professor of anthropology, published the article “Creativity and Innovation: Anthropological Perspectives” in Open Anthropology: A Public Journal of the American Anthropological Association (Volume 9, Issue 2). The article, co-authored with Cathy Lynne Costin, considers how we inhabit a shared creative world where people constantly improvise and experiment, circulating new ideas that open new possibilities for further actions and interactions. In short, being human is itself a creative practice.

Steve Ives

Stephen Ives, associate professor of health and human physiological sciences, co-authored a research paper published in the journal Research Directs in Health Sciences, titled “The Knowledge and Use of Blood Flow Restriction Therapy in a Sample of Physical Therapists in the United States.” The research was led by recent graduates Noa Mills ’21, Mariah Elder ‘21, Molly Boyce ‘21, and Matteo Evdokas ’21 as their senior thesis project.

Marketa Halova Wolfe

Marketa Halova Wolfe, associate professor of economics, was quoted in the Times-Union article “Looking for discounts? These items may be getting cheaper - for now.”
