Skidmore Spotlight: Elijah Deso
Eli Deso, lead media technology specialist, serves as deputy to the Director of Media Services and Learning Experience Design and Digital Scholarship (LEDS) Beth DuPont, and manages the installation, modernization, and maintenance of audiovisual infrastructure across campus.
“I was drawn to Skidmore because I have lived in the area most of my life and have always been intrigued, to say the least, about what was going on with Skidmore and the community around us,” said Deso, who joined Skidmore recently. “It seems like a cool, hip place to be and also to work, so here I am on the front lines.”
When he is not on campus, Deso enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with his family and four dogs. He also builds his own race and freestyle drones as a hobby.
